Web design/interactives:

•    The Record’s year in review, 2009
I designed and laid out The Record’s end of the year special section featuring the top stories, photos, multimedia and videos of 2009.

•    2009 High School Football
I designed and laid out the high school sports page on Recordnet.com. I created the lid image and set up all the feeds to the photo galleries and videos. Every week I shot at least one game and edited it that night. The videos were some of the most viewed videos on the website.

•    San Joaquin County Administration Building
I worked with Record reporters Zachary K. Johnson and Ian Hill on an in-depth look at a $109 million dollar project in downtown Stockton. The project included video, photos and an interactive floor plan of the building to go along with multiple stories.

•    Deciding death
Record reporter Scott Smith and I worked on this project about the victims of a serial killer who targeted women on the streets of Stockton and Oakland. We talked to the families of some of his victims and we were there as he was sentenced to death.

•    Diamonds in the rough
Two of the most used parks in Stockton are also some of the most violent. After a 13-year-old boy was shot and killed at Louis Park in west Stockton, Record reporter Scott Smith and I went to Louis Park and talked to people living in the area and playing in the park. I went with Record reporter Christian Burkin to Eastside Community Park and talked to the president of the little league there about the vandalism and violence in that neighborhood.

•    The Journey of the Brothers Fermin
I designed and laid out the online presentation of Jennifer Torres and Victor J. Blue’s in-depth look at a family of illegal immigrants and their journey back to their home in southern Mexico.
